Disaster Medicine

Extensive didactic and clinical outreach in Disaster Medicine and Management

A component of our fellowship is dedicated to Disaster Medicine with exposure at the local, state, federal and International level.  We spend an extensive amount of time in education including online and live. ICS courses, BDLS, ADLS, CRBNE, NMT and courses through FEMA and the Department of Homeland Security.  We focus on MCI preparedness, and large scale responses to natural disasters.  We frequently respond to International Crisis and Disasters with recent trips to Haiti and Puerto Rico.  As the on call EMS physician, you are on call for the entire State of New Jersey and respond to any large scale MCI or natural disaster.
